Survey for changes to NJ’s Striped Bass regulations
I received this in the mail and thought some here might want to take the survey and offer your opinions.
Takes about 6 min to complete all the questions.
The NJ Division of Fish & Wildlife is conducting a study regarding angler opinions on changes to NJ’s Striped Bass regulations. In response to the 2018 Atlantic Striped Bass stock assessment that indicated spawning stock is too low, and the stock is experiencing fishing mortality that is too high, the Atlantic States Marine Fisheries Commission (ASMFC) is requiring states to implement measures that would reduce harvest levels by approximately 17% by 2020. The ASMFC allows for certain changes to mandatory coastwide measures and this survey is designed to help us understand your interest in such changes. NJ’s (and all coastal states) regulations must change in 2020, and for this reason your participation in this survey is very important.
If you choose to participate in this survey your responses must be in by Friday June 14th, 2019.
