Re: Phiadelphia Delaware River Fishing
Two weekends ago I was crossing the Tacony Bridge and there was about a dozen boats fishing along the shoreline on the Jersey side. I think there is a park on right hand side of the bridge going into Jersey.
Thing you need to check in about is I think Jersey considers the channel as their boundary and if you fish from land or launch your boat from Jersey, you need a Jersey license.
As stated earlier, Bruce at Brinkmans has good bait and current information on what is happening.
We use to fish the river back by the waterworks on the river, I think that can be accessed from where the fire academy is on State Road, and where the Pennypack creek dumped into the river and did well at high tide.
Another place that has good access is where the Neshaminy Creek meets the Delaware river up in Croydon , that was a good musky spot but this was going back 20 years ago.
