Was fishing the Chesapeake this morning and had a awesome day! Started out the morning with a gorgeous sunrise!
Then the lines weren't in the water for even five minutes and we had a fish in the boat, a nice 38"er! We then went through a short drought and then it was game on again, another 38"er! Then it was my turn at the reel!
43" later I had my first citation fish!
We then caught a beautiful 39"er and finished out with a 41"er! First time I was out in the trophy season and we all caught keeper fish and I was pumped considering 2 of the 5 fish were citation fish!
I didn't know the guy that caught the first 38"er well so he wasn't in the quad pic! When we got back to dock the capt took a overall pic
like I said, today was a good day!
Nice report....were you trolling...drifting or anchored? I went once and we anchored with a group of other boats...limited in a few hours but fish weren't as big as yours... What type of lures or bait?
