Raystown Striper Run

I've heard for years that the stripers in Raystown run up the Juniata River each spring as far up as Saxton in Bedfoerd County. anyone fish this section for them in the spring?

The horizon is your starting point.

Re: Raystown Striper Run

I used to fish it a lot. It's quite a hush hush fishery. They can and do make it to Saxton although up that high isn't the best use of your time. We can talk more via PM if you want.

It's a good spot. Just not today.

Doubt they run like they used to since the smelt don't run as much as they used to...

I could be way off though

Re: Raystown Striper Run

A good friend of mine years ago caught a couple nice strippers at the old power plant.

Enjoy life and take a hike on the AT.
