Saltwater striper season won't be long.

Took the boat out this morning at 06:00 for a little ride to see if any fish were marking yet.
The tide just started out off Cape May and air temps were 54. I marked fish at spots all along the Cape May beach front from the inlet all the way out to the Rips.
Plenty of bait in the water and the water temp is already down to 65.
Still has a way to go yet but signs look good and there has been some nice fish caught back in the back bays at dark.
Heard they are not issuing any bonus tags this year but i hope that is just misinformation.

My ability to remember lyrics from songs of the 60's far exceed my ability to remember why I walked into the kitchen
