More Rockfish Action

After the last fishing trip my kids said they wanted to go next time. I thought I was hearing things. They'll do some fishing but dont usually ask to go. Due to baseball practice we didnt get to Bill and Lori's until late. After a few hours of sleep and a great breakfast by Lori, we made the short trip to the ramp and were heading out. It didnt take long before the 1st rod went down and my daughter reeled in her 1st rock. Soon after my son got his and after that it was chaos for a while. The action finally slowed down and so did the kids - things got quiet and I looked up and they were asleep on the front deck. We landed a few more fish including the biggest of the day while they slept. About the time we were ready to head in, they woke up and just in time for another quick flurry. We kept a few to eat and the kids went swimming while Bill and I cleaned the fish. Another great day on the bay.

You've killed them when you put them in the decoys......shooting just confirms it.
