Myrtle Beach fishing questions

Anybody have recommendations on a charter based out of the Myrtle Beach area. My main goal is to knock a Mahi Mahi off my bucket list. An Internet search shows many offering open trips, but before I just toss a dart at the wall and hope I figured some here have to know a good boat or two.

Are there any good pay to fish piers in the area. I sold all my surf gear when gas prices went crazy, but kept a few lighter boat rigs

P.S. The monkey really freaks DennyF out

Heading down that way myself. Any help on a decent charter would be appreciated.

I had a great experience with Captn Dan Juel and Fish Screamer Charters. He has a web site you can check out.

Well not sure if your staying in north myrtle or myrtle or south myrtle but if you want to take a ride north. I can recommend a few out of calabash NC or check out ocean isle fishing center in ocean isle beach NC. The ocean isle boys will put you on the fish for sure!!! If its too far head for you head south to murrells inlet and there are some good charters out of there.

We just got back from Ocean Isle Beach on Saturday. Didn't get a chance to fish, but we love it there! This was our 5th straight year.

Re: Myrtle Beach fishing questions

I'll be heading to Ocean Isle in a few weeks. Would also like to do some fishing. If anyone has any info on fishing that area please keep it coming. I will be able to walk out the front of the house and fish tubbs inlet or the back of the house and fish the beach.

Sekora I know the area very well, my parents have a house down there. I can give you a few spots to hit on ocean isle and sunset beach. You will love it down there. Plus a few spots to crab if you like that. Shoot me a pm.
