Here's a few select pics from my caribou hunt with Jack Hume Adventures. Hunted sept 3-9 2010. All the stars aligned to give me a perfect trip. Arrived at camp on Friday afternoon, was tug out saturday morning.

Beautiful country.

Good Job! Isn't it neat how no two racks look the same?

Our forefathers didn't bury their guns. They buried those that tried to take them.

Re: pics from JHA caribou hunt

Great report! The fishing looked as good as the hunting! However, I was not aware that brook trout grew on trees up there.. - I'm guessin he made it back to camp for trout nuggets..?..

Anyway, nice bulls - success is great either way but to go all that way and have it be over in one day has to be a little anti-climactic..

Re: pics from JHA caribou hunt

eh, you take 'em when you can get them. Shot one Friday after arrival, second one saturday. Sunday there is no hunting in Labrador, which was also the tail end of hurricane earl. Most of the bou were gone after that, so I'm glad I took them when I did. Fishing was great, and had a blast watching other hunts with the binos from a distance. That's caribou, you may see hundreds one day, nothing at all the next.

Looks like an awesome time, Sweet Bulls!! Did you get to bring your "Big One" intact or was it split?

Re: pics from JHA caribou hunt

I brought it home intact, I split the little one. with JHA, you're allowed one full set, or two split sets. For $50 extra you can take one full and one split, for $100 extra you can take two full sets.
