Broken arrow outfitters

Has anyone ever used this outfitter who is located in Montana?

Iím trying to going on an elk hunt for 2013 and I thought I read (not sure what hunting forum) that somebody hunted with this outfitter and they like the operation.

Iím leaning on hunting out of a lodge since I had already experienced the wall tent accommodations.

If this site had some type of sub forum like they have in the classified section for our members to review outfitters for specific game that our members had experience with, and their recommendations, people like me would not be asking this type of question.

Well any information on this outfitter or any other outfitter would be appreciated.

Re: Broken arrow outfitters

I have hunted with Sherri and Erwin on two occasions. Both trips were great experiences. Not only in being successful but the whole operation. I've hunted DIY drop and fully guided. A big cow the first trip and a nice 4x4 the DIY trip. The first trip we were covered in elk and I blew an opportunity at a big 6x6. Seen well over 500 elk that trip! The second trip DIY I shot my first bull an hour into the season. I then shot a coyote the second day. A friend of mine from Cabela's took his first big game with them. A big cow! Feel free to pm me for my cellphone number if you want to talk. They run a great operation and are honest people! Good luck with your trip no matter who you go with!

Is this complaint just another attempt to get your sub-forum?

Seems like you got good and pertinent information right here. You see, the system works.

Good luck on your hunt.

Re: Broken arrow outfitters

John,

Just a dream of completing the North American Super Slam. It used to be 28 but now they have the Super 10, Super 25, and the Super Slam 29 of North America's big game animals. I've been stuck at 11 of the 29 for a couple of years now. I was unsuccessful on an Alaskan barren ground caribou and British Columbia mountain goat hunt. That would have put me at 13 of 29 with a sheep for the Super 10. Wherever I end up it will be just fine with me. I count my blessing everyday that I have the means to do these trips! I've also got addicted to Africa and head back there in April for another hunt. This will certainly slow my quest but there's no where in the world like Africa!

Re: Broken arrow outfitters

I just booked a combo father son hunt with this outfitter for 2013. I was in yellowstone this past summer and stopped by and talked to them both and looked over the place. If you wish PM me with your phone number and I will tell you what I found out in my research of them.

Re: Broken arrow outfitters

My family and I hunted with them last year(got 2 bulls and a cow, we tagged out). As a matter of fact I am on the cover of their latest brochure and on the posters they use at the shows. Feel free to PM me and I can give you some feedback on the lodge and the tent hunts
