Mule deer Antelope outfitter recommadations

I have never been west before but am looking for recommendations for either a mule deer, antelope or combo hunt for my 13 yr. old son and I. If anybody has ever taken a young teen please tell of your experience.

I have hunted with 7-V Guest Ranch near Brussett, MT a couple of times. Family operation - great accommodations, guides, food, etc. You will be strangers when you arrive and friends when you leave.

Re: Mule deer Antelope outfitter recommadations

Southfork Mountain Lodge & Outfitters. Buffalo, Wyoming. Was out there this October, for a combo hunt & was not disappointed. Great accomadations, great food, Great guides. We seen & I am not exaggerating 150 to 200 Mule Deer & twice that in Antelope. My Buddy and I Each killed Both deer and speed goats. Our Mule Deer won't break any records but were respectable Bucks mine was a 4x4 with brow tines, My Buddy's was larger a 4x3 with brows but higher & heavier then mine. The Antelope I shot was big 14" buck from what I have been told that was a great antelope for that part of Wy. My buddy's antelope was very nice too but not Quite as big as mine. The over all experience was great & we were in camp with two other groups of hunters both of those groups were repeat clients. I Highly reccomend this outfitter.

My whole family goes with this outfitter pretty consistently over the years. He has always been good to us and if you are willing to hunt you will get some great trophy's. Good luck.

I gotta chime in too. Just returned from A double J outfitters. I wrote about it here and also on bowsite.com Rusty and his wife run a great place. The guides were professional, fun and knowledgable. great bunkhouse, all around perfect place, we saw lots of game and took real respectable animals.

Sab, yup thats my name...

I was at Seven J Outfitters in Sundance Wyoming three weeks ago. Everything was great.

They work really hard to make sure every one has a great hunt.
