Re: ohio archery outfitter

Whitetail Outfitters of Ohio has a standard $1800 for all dates this year which is a good deal for a rut hunt out there. No outfitter in Ohio has the quality of deer that Ty has on his properties. Trailcam and success photo comparison between every outfitter website proves that on it's own.

If you are looking for lazy relaxing vacation, he's probably not the guy to go with. If you want to hunt hard for big buck then I'd sign up in a hurry before he sells out. You wake up early, leave early, sit all day and get picked up very late. It's a lonnnnnnnng day, but when you pay $1800 for the chance at a big buck, why would you want to be anywhere else but in your treestand?

Re: ohio archery outfitter

I've hunted 2 times with southern Ohio outfitters and treated very well by Dave and his family. Apparently he has gotten very successful and feels he can change the way he treats people. I had scheduled aN archery hunt with him this fall. Unfortunately I suffered a serious leg injury and will ot be able to go. Sent him the bad news. He said he would refund my deposited but thus far I haven't seen it. It is a prime rut week which he should have filled already. Maybe an over sight. We'll see.

Re: ohio archery outfitter

Ralph46, Daves seems to be a great guy from my experince and goes out of his way to please his clients. Did you try calling him directly? You should persue the matter further with him but dont be making a big deal out of it yet on the internet until you guys get squared up. The internet is a fast and easy way for outfitters to get bad reputations.
