Guide laws & regulations

Can someone tell me what laws & regulations we have in PA on guiding hunters? Certifications? Guiding on state & federal lands?

Re: Guide laws & regulations

Elk and Bobcat required and include guiding on state lands. No other guides on state lands allowed. I think.

Re: Guide laws & regulations

For elk and bobcat a guide license is required everywhere, not just game lands. For other species no license is required and guiding may not be done on game lands. The guide license as above allows guiding on gamelands where it is unlawful to engage in commercial activities, except for elk and bobcat with a permit.

Thanks guys. How about federal land. We dont have elk here. I live in 500,000acres of fed land and never heard of anyone doing it.

Re: Guide laws & regulations

I correct it, but that would be an interesting hunt.
