DIY or semi guided hunt for Mule deer

What would you guys recomend ? what state / outfitter for a decent one & possible a speed goat to . Gun hunt no bone & crocket unless get lucky

I would do it DIY. I know on my DIY pronghorn hunts in SD I could have shot trophy class mulies each time. Mulies and Pronghorn just aren't that hard that I'd consider paying an outfitter.

It would probably cost you around $3000 for a combo, but if the economy isn't good this year, there may be some good bargains out there - cancellation hunts. Like Moose said, a DIY isn't a bad option. You could get leftover tags in WY, not sure about MT or SD. CO normally takes points to draw.

Take an older friend hunting or fishing - they're the reason we do what we do!
