Re: Hog hunt question

I looked into him, I can't say I was impressed. There are a few other ones in Fla. Why did you pick him ? Going to Disney and looking to see if you can't squeeze in a hunt ?

Sab, yup thats my name...

Re: Hog hunt question

We have gone with Brian Kelly that owns Hawg Wild ranch a couple of times in Okeechobee Fl which is about a hour and a half from Orlando. He has lodging right on the property and when you book you are the only ones there. These are all free range hogs that he has stands up with feeders and he does dog hunts as well. We went in 09 and killed 6 in two days, me and my wife shot 4 out of on stand on the fist night. You pay by the hog so u can shot as many as u want. Check out his website its hawgwildranch.net

Re: Hog hunt question

Yeah were headin done for a week and i thought that would be a idea. My brother in law has never hunted so were gonna go to an outfit that he can hunt on. We are lookin to hunt with dogs and knife, somethin to get the blood pumpin! Rons seemed to have the most reasonable rates with their fixed prices.

Re: Hog hunt question

I almost booked with him a few years ago but things fell through and it never happened. Anyway, I checked a lot of references and every one of them was positive. I have a buddy hunting with him in a couple of weeks and will know more then.

Re: Hog hunt question

We were actually looking in to a Tennessee boar hunt. I have a thread started but after reading this thread I started looking in to Florida and the gators caught my eye. It looks like we are going to book a gator/hog combo at Toms. Flights are a good bit cheaper in to Florida also.

Any reports will be appreciated and I will report after our trip in September.

Sorry I meant Ron not Tom. This is the place here.

Rons
Thanks
