Newfoundland Moose hunt

I was wondering if anybody went moose hunting lately in Newfoundland? If so, who was the outfitter? Did you have any success? Would you recommend this outfitter? Did you meet the outfitter at the Harrisburg show? I am starting to look into hunting there and would like to talk to some outfitters at the show.
Thanks

Went this fall, had success, would do it again.

Sou'wester Outfitting, Inc. - Dean Wheeler

Did not meet him at the show, but did my homework on the net and got plenty of references both successful and unsuccessful.

Red indian Lake Outfitters.... Been there last 6 years..always a good time. We've always tagged out. Fred and Shirley Thorne are at the Harrisburg show every year. We're booked for next year, first week of October. Really nice camp, Argos and lots of moose. Fred has web site...google red indian lake outfitters and tours. Most of his sports are from Pa.

I have hunted with Roger Lewis at least 6 or 7 times. Always successful and a great guy. He is the best guide I have ever hunted with. His phone number is 709-686-2370. Lives in Pasadena.

When I was researching Newfoundland outfitters to add to our hunt offerings, Dean's operation checked out well. I believe he would provide a quality hunt for you.

I hunted Portland Creek once also. Though I shot a fairly nice bull, I was certainly not impressed with their operation.
