I believe bohunr and his son did a successful gator hunt. Maybe he'll chime in.

red bluff lodge Allendale South Carolina. my son got a 10 footer, at night, from a boat with a bow......saw about 40-50 every night we went out. just took a little time to get the one we wanted. he missed a much bigger one the night before. the arrow bounced off

my sons hunt is right around the 3:25 mark...its the last one on the video. they call them right to the side of the boat and sometimes they try to get in the boat with you. two tried that with us...its FUN !!

You can always apply for the South Carolina alligator draw for 13 dollars and do a DIY hunt on public land. This will be my 3rd year applying for a tag. Congrats to your son on a nice gator.

Having a huge alligator trying to get into a boat with me in the middle of the night seems more like a nightmare than fun. 😬

slowly going down back river channels and marshes in the moon light looking for gators with spanish moss hanging down from the branches, listening to big bull gators roar from the marsh brush, watching them as they slip under the water as the boat glides silently towards them only to reappear behind the boat with a look in their eyes that says "wonder if them fellas taste like chicken? " the only thing missing was a shrill scream from bigfoot.

whats not to like

when you get done with a night time gator hunt and chase one outta the boat...you can cancel your heart check up...its just been done !

Big foot is more likely to knock on trees with a log than scream. So, if you heard any knocking from afar, your trip may have been complete....
