Discount? That's a good one, LOL.

Doubtful you could get any date for a group, Dock books solid every year. About the only weeks you'd have a chance would be during the Pa firearms season, or Christmas week. He was even booked pretty full this year from right after Christmas to the end of the season.

I didn't see anything either. It was foggy until about 9 that particular morning. Too bad you cancelled. I will definitely have a range finder 'til November!

Rut in Eastern/Central NC is usually Halloween onwards into 1st week of Nov. I hunted from Archery Sept. through Jan. close and also a bit of depredation in the off season though never Urban Archery In Feb. After 4 mos. of hunting every M-Sat she might have killed me. There are a lot of deer there and eastern zone was a bit more liberal with 4 Buck limit though I think last year dropped to 2. Central Rut hit during MZL 2 weeks. Eastern Rifle starts earlier. They don’t bait much in Eastern with the iron clay peas, beans, and peanuts everywhere. Looking at the pics I really need to go hunt NC this year. Commitments here kept me from going back since Relo. Not sure on this Outfitter but Eastern Zone is dog hunting too, never tried personally but hear it’s fun.

Spent a decade hunting Eastern Farms and Suburban farms between Raleigh and Chapel Hill/Durham. If you’ve never hunted the south it’s different that’s for sure.
