The most flights you've had on one trip???

For me, the traveling aspect of getting to an from destinations is one of the most interesting parts of the trip. I love just getting to see different things. I was sitting around wondering how many flights some of you folks may have taken on some of your trips. When I hunt in Newfoundland, it is usually three flights each way. I hunted there once with a fly-in camp so it was 4 flights each way for a total of 8 flights on that trip. I just finished booking my flights for my grizzly hunt in Alaska this fall and it seems that I have 10 total flights this trip. Pittsburgh to Minneapolis, Minneapolis to Seattle, Seattle to Fairbanks, Fairbanks to Tok and Tok into the bush. I can't wait to see Alaska from one of those tundra planes. What is the most flights you have taken on a trip???

Five. On a trip to northern BC in 2003, we flew from Harrisburg to Toronto, then to Vancouver, BC. From Vancouver to Smithers, then to Deese Lake, and a float plane flight from Deese Lake to the outfit.

from what you have posted in the past Mutt, I bet you are the most traveled on this site.

This will not qualify for the most flights but on a trip to Golden BC once my itinerary was.

fly PIT to ORD to CGY then taxi to hotel, next mourning Taxi bus terminal, Bus from CGY to Banff BC, change bus in Banff to Golden BC, Then Pick-up truck 30 miles to destination.

Don't know about that, timber, but I have been lucky enough to get around some. The good Lord blessed me with a W 1 FE unit that not only lets me do it, but she likes to go along sometimes. It also helps that she is an easy keeper; very low maintenance.

I am heading to San Antonio in a couple of hours! I get on a plane about every other week. I can honestly say, for the most part, the airlines do an o.k. Job. I haven't gotten myself into any extreme situations, but the day is early

One of our guys came home last week from Brazil, on what was supposed to be a 3 flight trip! Mechanical problems, a passenger almost died, weather, and the crew being over their hours, turned his trip into 8 flights! That's the worst I have heard of, but at least he wasn't going hunting

Actually my wife is the traveler (and bread earner for that matter).
Two years ago she flew from Pittsburgh to LAX to Shanghai China were she spent two weeks on Business. Then she went to Israel for a week. The flight from Shanghai to Israel went west across southern asia over the middle east. From Isreal she went to Paris France and then back to the Pit in essence taking her around the world in around one month.

I think she still has jet lag...LOL
