Can Anyone Help

Hi guys I am planning a Mule deer/ Antelope hunt in 2012, in Wyoming & was wondering if anyone, has hunted with,or knows anything about any, of these outfitters. I have reference lists, but was wondering if anyone on this sight has hunted with or heard about these outfitters.
1- South Fork mountain lodge & Outfitters
2- Western Gateway Outfitters
3-Timberline Outfitters
4-High Lonsome Outfitters
They are all comparable in price excepy For Western Gateway which is more. Just asking if anone can help with a little info.

Re: Can Anyone Help

I hunted with Timberline 7-8 years ago. I understand that the partners broke up and one of them kept the business. We had a good time, saw plenty of animals, took nice antelopes--16"+ Flew into SD and drove over. Good group--not the top shelf, certainly not the bottom.

Re: Can Anyone Help

Mike, i hunted with western gateway outfitters in the spring of 2008 and had a blast. we hunted both south dakota and wyoming for merriams and the hunt was awesome. i have never seen so many merriams in my life. everybody in camp got all 3 birds. i cant say much about the deer because it was spring but i can tell you in every field there was whitetails every where. Russ and his wife were awesome hosts and had great camps in both states. the food was real good and plenty of it. he has a great collection of mounts and sheds at his place and the taxidermist in wyoming had a bunch of big mule deer and antelope antlers waiting to be mounted. it was definitely a first class operation. i know he does real good on the whitetails. he has access to real good ranches so i would expect he has good populations of mule deer and antelope. i have hunted mule deer and antelope on 5 sedperate occasions on a huge ranch outside of casper and we have always done real good on antelope and mule deer. i would expect on any good ranch in wyoming to have a real expectation at a 24 inch wide nice forked mule deer and at least 14 inch and up antelope. i know that is what we expect with our outfitter. if you can find some of my previous posts of my trophy room you will see what im talking about. i dont think you can go wrong with Russ he really has a passion for getting his client game. if you need any further info give me a shout
