If you want to see a lot of grouse, call Allagash Guide service in Allagash, and book some time out of their camp. Guided or unguided, you'll see plenty of grouse.

The UP Mich. Check you pms.

When you are up to your butt in alligators, it is hard to remember your intent was to drain the swamp. Stay focused!

Since you have a choice, I'd skip NY and head to either Maine or Michigan.

There are no grouse in Maine. They have partridge.

My son and I have gone to Bull Dog camp in Maine twice. This year we flushed more grouse than I would have imagined.. Owner is great. Accomidations are Spartan but if you are only going for 3-4 days it's OK.

Even though this thread is two years old I was winding if anyone could provide updates to some good grouse hunting in Maine? Or Michigan or Minnesota? Are the camps mentioned still thriving? Thanks!
