Has anyone been out after the crappies yet at raystown? We are going to be going there next sunday and going after them. Any advice would really help.

Thanks

Re: Raystown Crappies

Haven't been there yet but am hoping to get there this week. I am going to hit coffee run and Shy beaver inlet first with fat head minnows. If that doesn't work probably work my way toward weaver falls fishing tree tops ,and submerged structure.

Re: Raystown Crappies

Friday May 10, Got on the water about 8:00 AM ,fished until around 1:30 pm

Fished ,James creek ,Aitch Bay, Coffee Run.

Action was slow, water surface temp 61 degrees

At the end of the day there were 6 keepers in the livewell, one was 15" what a horse, the largest Crappie ever in my boat.

Lots of junk and debris on the water, be careful running full tilt.
