Recommend me some fishing gear.

I haven't been fishing much the last few years, 10 or so, so all my gear is pretty much trashed. I've been really missing it and want to get back in but really don't know where to start on the gear. Id like to get some input on what rod/reel to get and what tackle you guys would recommend for some bass fishing in the Susquehanna.

Re: Recommend me some fishing gear.

Reel: Cabela's has a Pflueger President on sale $39.99 (20$ off) 5$ flat rate shipping. Quality reel for the price! Great size for river or lake fishing.
Rod: 6'6"-7' M or M/L too wide a range in price to recommend.
(Check Gander Mt. They just had clearance on rods here in York. 119.99$ rods for $10!!!! We stocked up!!!)
Tube jigs, crayfish color...
Crankbait, I prefer To-Zuri Crystal Minnow over anything else.
Good tackle bag, old shoes: READY TO FISH

You still wanna get into it when water is wadable and don't have supplies yet, I'll take ya out. If you are into standing in water for half a day or so. Got all the rods and gear you could need in the river!

Re: Recommend me some fishing gear.

X2 on the tubes 3 and 4 inch with 1/8 oz heads. Have plenty on hand cause you will loose some on the bottom. I haven't fished in a few years eaither but have been stocking up. Hopefully my schedule allows me to get out!
Good luck!
