It affects me far more than it bothers the bass... LOL. I generally fish early say 4 - 9am then return to the A/C cave to hibernate. Sometimes I will venture out in the evening say 8pm and fish till ? Yesterday all our bigger bass(16-20") were caught in open water roughly 10' deep after 8:30am it was bright + hot by that time. We got there around 5:30 and only got a few dinks in more traditional spots. We couldn't buy a "real" bite in the shaded woody cover, grassbeds, shaded banks or from under matted weeds. We packed it in at 10am(buddy was capt.) due to heat and the invasion of yakers.
