A Flurry of Fishing Trips Part 2

Friday I headed to the "big" water to try my luck.


I had made some "fluke" style baits the nite before and thought I'd give them a try. They didn't disappointed me.



A couple of large Rockbass also liked the fluke.

When I ran out of flukes I tried a ringworm. They seemed to like it too.

As the sun rose higher in the sky my back started to tell me that I'm not as young as I once was so I called it a day .Although no "lunkers" were caught this week I thought about all the wonderful hours I'd spent on the water fighting these special fish we call smallies and smiled the whole way on the long walk back to the truck.

Those are some great looking fish! Congrats on a wonderful week of fishing.. Hope the dog training goes well.. We got a beagle for my son two Xmas ago and now she is just a spoiled house pet haha..
