Dodged a bullet

I went out to the back side of the property that I hunt doing a little early scouting. I found that the property owner had been doing some logging.

I went out and followed the path of destruction. It went right towards my stand and camera site.

I got there and couldn't locate my camera or the tree that it was attached to. My ladder stand was about 50 yds from where they stopped cutting. The next day the property owner came to my house with my M80 in hand. He said that the logging crew removed the cam and gave it to him.

Its nice to hear there are still honest people out there.

There are two ways to be fooled. One is to believe what isn't true; the other is to refuse to believe what is true.

Re: Dodged a bullet

I can almost see that chainsaw going right through that camera! You got lucky. Hopefully the site isn't too torn up for fall.

Please put your WMU in your location! Helps! 3C

I hung one on a cornstalk one year and when I went back the corn was harvested.

Nice to hear, polite people, I'm sure you thanked them.

It's not an addiction, its my passion.
