camera problems

I have a Primos TruthCam 46. When I put in the SD card it reads SD Full. This SD card shows no picture when loaded onto the computer. I tried 3 other SD cards and got the same message. Any ideas????

Re: camera problems

I have not used that camera brand but here are a few things to try if you have not done so: 1)Shut off the camera and remove the SD card, then remove the batteries for a little while. 2)Format the card in the computer. 3)Re install the batteries, making sure they are fully charged or at 1.5 volt. Install the SD card and do a test. If this still fails try a different brand of SD card making sure the GB (2, 4 etc.) is not too large for the camera to recognize. Good luck.

Re: camera problems

My first suggestion would be formatting the card. If the file system is changed, it may not be read by your trail camera. If it's a new card you bought, it's possible it's just too large for the camera. My cuddeback won't take anything larger than a 2GB card. My new Trophy Cam takes my 32GB card like a champ.

littlegopher's advice is spot on.

Did you put the card in a digital camera to take a peek at the pictures? If so, some cameras will change the filesystem and you'll have to reformat the card.
