Wildgame Innovations W6Xac

I picked up a Wildgame Innovations W6Xac trail camera this weekend. Does anyone have any experience with this camera?

Re: Wildgame Innovations W6Xac

I have one of the 6mp cameras. It's sketchy at best. When it takes pics in the daytime they are great. But at night time I typically ge pure whited out pictures. And the trigger speed on the camera is horrible. It waits like 15 seconds to snap a pic after motion has been detected and if what made the motion is already out of frame it doesn't even take a picture. Starting to think I wasted $60 on the cam when I shoul have saved it for a better bushnell

I have a Wildgame Innovations Red 6 IR camera and I'm not so sure it's a reliable unit. I can put bait out and it will be gone, yet when I check the card all I get are pics of my fat @$$ walking away from the camera....frustraiting. I often get the whited out exposures and a lot of nothing pics due to the slow trigger speed. sometimes I get good pics and videos sometimes not...it's a craps shoot.

Re: Wildgame Innovations W6Xac

Buddy picked up two W6X at east coast when they were closing. We got a lot of whiteout pics. Any animal moving day or night caused a complete blur. After some resesarch, I found that cams made before August 2011, this was an issue. After that it was corrected. I read to contact the company and they will send a new cam. We called and they said to send them in. They are in the mail now.

It's a good spot. Just not today.

I just sent 2 trailcams back to Wildgame Innovations, n5c and ir3c, they both had sensor problems... One of them took pictures every 3 seconds and the other only took pictures of moving objects 2 ft infront of it (me when i was setting it up and checking it)... I will be getting 2 new cams from them in a "couple weeks".

Here is my post from last week... I'm starting to see a trend with the brand.
