Black Flash Shootout

Have this posted over at the chasingame.com forum and thought some of you might be interested in following the progress.

Top to bottom.

Reconyx HC600
DLC Covert 60
Bushnell 119466

This will be a trail test to see how the black flash cams stack up as far as trigger speed, number of pics, picture quality and night flash range. Settings are 1 minute delay and 2 pictures per trigger.

If Tyranny and Oppression come to this land, it will be in the guise of fighting a foreign enemy JM

Re: Black Flash Shootout

My impatience got the best of me and I had to check to get some initial shots. Not much to go off of but figured some of you are as impatient as I am.

Bushnell - 8 pics
DLC - 6 pics
Reconyx - 6 pics

Dusk shots.

Reconyx

DLC

Bushnell

Night

From initial shots, looks like the DLC will be much brighter and crisper but the Bushnell will have less motion blur.

Bushnell

Reconyx missed event

Re: Black Flash Shootout

I have a question.I have heard that you cann`t see the flash on a black flash but in the night time pics it looks like it lights up the area pretty good.So can you see it flash at night and not in the day or what?

Re: Black Flash Shootout

Not much activity right now.

Reconyx - 6 pics
Bushnell - 10 pics(2 empty)
DLC - 16 pics(6 empty)

I wouldn't take too much away from these initial pic counts. The Reconyx missed an opossum and one set of raccoon pics but it's set the highest on the tree. None have missed any deer that have gone by.

Here's some day sample pics to compare.
