Curious...

It's me again, sorry for the tons of posts but now that i look at this deer i am wondering if it is the same buck as i was getting last year. Last summer i had really nice buck on camera that looks just like this deer from this past week. The first pic is from this year and the second one is from last summer. I think it may be the same deer but i do not know. i sure hope it is though!

Re: Curious...

bigbuck78: I think this is two different deer. As you look at the base of the antler in the top photo, the bone structure is different than in the bottom photo.
Thanks for sharing.

Re: Curious...

Im going out on a limb here, but I think there is a decent chance it could be the same deer. If you look closely at the base of the right antler in the picture it appears to me the character from the previous year is there just not very distinct this early in the development. Wait and see...

Re: Curious...

I think it is the same buck. It's got strange marks, (scars maybe) in front of it's eyes. It looks like it's still there.

Re: Curious...

I'd bet it's the same deer. Very unique face markings. In a couple months his picture will look a lot more like the second pic. Nice pictures.
