I agree with Q2XL12. Prior to using security (bear boxes) I had the buckle on a 2009 model Bushnell Trophy Trail camera broken. The camera was set to video, landed face up and caught the bear swatting at the strap that was still on the tree. My second episode involved a bear breaking the strap holders on a SpyPoint IRB. Since then any camera placed in bear territoy is placed in the metal box. Having all the cameras in these boxes is a good idea as deer and moose love to rub against the cameras as well.
This is the reason I prefer setting my cameras to video and in the above post having one with audio adds to the realizm of video. Thanks for sharing.
