Bear Attack on Moultrie M80 with Sound

I pieced together several short clips from a Bear Attack on my Moultrie M80 last week. Thank God for security boxes or it would have been history. This is a video click on the picture.

Been there!! I had 2 Cuddebacks and a Moultrie out and they never touched the Cuddebacks but keep chewing the Moultrie!
Must be something they like about them!!!
Cool video!

cool video!

Bear boxes are a must if you are in bear territory. I've had several torn off trees multiple times from them until I put the cameras in boxes.

2F for a while...

Re: Bear Attack on Moultrie M80 with Sound

I agree with Q2XL12. Prior to using security (bear boxes) I had the buckle on a 2009 model Bushnell Trophy Trail camera broken. The camera was set to video, landed face up and caught the bear swatting at the strap that was still on the tree. My second episode involved a bear breaking the strap holders on a SpyPoint IRB. Since then any camera placed in bear territoy is placed in the metal box. Having all the cameras in these boxes is a good idea as deer and moose love to rub against the cameras as well.
This is the reason I prefer setting my cameras to video and in the above post having one with audio adds to the realizm of video. Thanks for sharing.

You should offer to "sell" that video to the box manufacturer.
I've been lucky.
They will look at it, up real close, but never bothered it.
But I've never had it on video either.
