wildview extreme 2

I was wondering if anybody had one of these or know anything about them. I have one and have used it for 3-4 years now and got many pictures with it but today i checked it it has been out for about a month now and i brought the card home and checked it and there was a bunch of pictures but there was also a bunch of 20 second video clips on it. I didnt think it took videos. Does anybody know if you can set it up for videos or has anybody else have this happen?

huntsully29: Doing a google search for: Wildview extreme 2 trail camera spec, go down to the link that reads: Wildview Xtreme 11 2.0 MP Scouting Camera Product Review. Here you will find some information.
Just below that link is one: Wildview Xtreme 2 Review-You Tube.
Both these links should be helpful, and yes that camera according to the links, will take video, but only in the daytime.
I originally had access to a total of 14 of the earlier version WildView EZ Cam. 4 of these were returned to the dealer for warranty. At the time trail cameras didn't have the video function. As soon as video function became available, I sold mine and purchased video function cameras.
Wildview were very hard on batteries unless using the 12 volt external port which I soon went to coupled up to the 300 series Energizer batteries similiar to what one uses in a ride on lawnmower, golf cart etc.
On a bright sunny day, those WildView took excellent pictures, otherwize they were very grainy, poor quality.

If possible check your camera batteries with a digital meter. If any one battery drops to 1.0 to 1.2 volt, your camera will not function properly or not at all. This can happen with any brand of trail camera. New batteries fresh out of the package may even have a faulty one. Random checking your camera batteries in the field is a good idea, then they can be swapped out with new or fully charged ones.
