Viewing pics

For some reason, when I put the SD cards in my computer, it is opening my files as PDF files....is that a computer setting? Any help is appreciated

I prefer my kid hunt and fish rather than steal and deal,

Navigate to the drive the SD card is, my guess is the E:/ drive. Open the folders until you see the pictures and right click on one, select "Open With" and select the program you want to use to view the pictures.

Yes I figured that part out, but don't know why it opens all of them as PDF initially.....

There are several ways, but the root cause is a wrong "file association".

With the way described above instead of directly choosing what you want each time, instead click on "open with" "choose another app" then put a check mark in "always use this app to open (file type)". This will be permanently stored.

Another way, in the lower left right click on the windows icon and click on "Control Panel" "Programs" "Make a file type always open in a specific program", click on the file extension and upper left click on "Change program...", make your selection (use "more apps") if you don't see what you want.

viewing pics

I have similar problem trying to view pics on computer and tired of it, somebody please recommend medium priced viewer so all I have to do is take the chip out and see whats on the cam, thats all I want to do right now thanks.
