The Buck we Call Hightower

This guy might get me to burn a tag before Lugnut ever shows up. He's just so cool looking. I hope my son or dad see him on opening morning.

Jack - you must be PA Jack from the other site, since you know my first name. I'm still hunting on your mountain. Ha ha.

After following the intriguing saga of Lug nut I would hold off for him. You can not shoot the great one by shooting the one that is great.

Patience...... It is why we do what we do, the chase is just a bigger part of the journey. Pictures, Check. Still around my hunting area, Check. A shot at a true PA giant, priceless.

Glad you're feeling better, Jack. I had a Red Rock Corner Store hoagie and thought about you.

I'm going to have to have a plan for this season. Set up some kind of minimum. I know I can't get Lugnut if I shoot another buck first. But I don't know about passing up a nice buck, like a 120 incher. I'll have to go in with a shoot/no-shoot game plan.

My son is still a junior hunter so he can shoot whatever he wants, for one more year. He says he is holding out for a good one. He said that a couple years ago and shot a fork horn, so you never know.
