Here is the big bucks from my pull on Tuesday ! this is 3 different cameras ! Take a good look at this first buck and see if you think he's an old buck going down hill ! His body is huge !
Then look at the big boy shooter I call hooks because his brow tines hook forward ! Then there's the big 11 point !

Man, Hooks looks like he is going to have some solid mass. Love those brows. As far as the first buck goes, I would certainly say that you are potentially right. You know how many factors go into antler growth so who knows. But he certainly has the body to be an old buck. I often wonder how many bucks make it to the decline stage of life... I really think it is more than we (here in PA) allow.

Never underestimate pride; it can be a Man's greatest strength or his worst enemy

Never Forget.

Without seeing previous years pictures of the first buck its impossible to tell. He's certainly mature though. The deer I've been following for years don't seem to regress in antler growth until age 10. I'm actually surprised with such a mild winter and wet summer, some of the bucks in their prime in my area are sporting racks smaller than last year.

Iím a great believer in luck, and I find the harder I work the more I have of it.

Pops423 believe it or not that is the same buck that I shot last year and hit his right shoulder bone at 33 yds and never found him ! The reason I know is because in the one video I have you can see the scar ! I mean it could be from something else but I think its the same buck !!
