Well I know from years past that the location with the 3 in the picture - has much larger bucks that move in around September. They stay down in the lower valley till then and then work their way up over the mountain as the bachelor groups split up... So yea, these are the pups compared to what will be showing up before season. I used to set a camera down in the valley, but the 2 mile walk got a little much over the years, especially carrying mineral and salt blocks, Etc.... plus why bother when I know where they'll be coming too anyway.
And the location in the video: this is an example of what lurks in that area - but is rarely seen on cams....
Majik Man, Great shots, thanks for sharing. My camera is down for maintenance, 2 days ago a black bear decided to poke a claw through the motion sensor protective lens. Until I get it repaired I have to look what others are processing. Thanks. Keep them coming.
That's why I run several cameras.... have only 3 in the woods right now... have 5 on the shelf..... Truth is, a lot of my hunting spots are seemingly down for this year: 3 have signs up as "Timber Sale Areas" , so i'm kinda off about setting any cameras in those... and one was completely flattened by a tornado... Go figure...lol
