I wonder if he maxed out???

I got this buck on cam several times last 2 years. He shows up mid July and stays until I take my cams down early Sep. I didn't have him at all after last season from Dec to mid Feb, instead got a buck that I didn't get all summer all winter. I assumed he was killed, then he showed up out of no where mid July just like 2015. I assumed in the 2015 pics he was a 3.5 or 4.5 year old buck based on body size and antler size for the big woods area he's in. He really made no gains aside from become more symmetrical, lost some length in some tines, maybe gained a little in others and maybe gained some mass and main beam length. Maybe he's older than I thought? I hope he shows up again and I am vowing to run my cams all year this year, but didn't get any pics of him yet in Jan or Feb. He's a trophy in my book, but was just bored so thought I'd share and get opinions.......It's that time of year

No, whack that fella with a tranq dart, move him on out to Iowa, and he should be a Booner next year!

But yeah, I would venture to guess he's mature and won't put on too much bone this summer. I really hope you get some pics of him and follow up with us!

Hard to tell but looking at the body he is either a healthy buck or more mature. If hes hefty because he is mature i wouldnt expect much more growth
