Really Cool Canada-Snow Goose Hybrid

Had a great day yesterday hunting with my son and a couple friends. We have been seeing a partially white goose from late summer til yesterday. It was hanging with a group of about 20 resident canada geese. My son really wanted to get a crack at that hybrid goose. In the morning we got 2 nice flocks to come in and got 5 geese. Didn't see the white one in the morning. Yesterday afternoon was pretty hot until that wind kicked up. It was a very quiet afternoon but right before quitting time we had 2 nice flocks come in and circle us and the white one was in the one flock. Both flocks landed 30 -40 yds outside outside our spread and the white one was on my son's side so we said shoot the white one first which he did but it was trying t fly away so him and his buddy shot again and put it down. We were so focused on that goose we only managed to kill one other on that jump but we didn't care. You could hear this goose out of the whole flock because it sounded like a snow goose. I love how the wing tips are white and we will be getting this bird mounted. I never saw one before.

I saw that bird all summer long. His pattern was pretty predictable until res season came in. Cool to see someone got him. Good job
