Let's Take a Vote!

With all the too long to read Saturday opener threads I want to see what the actual numbers are. Simple yes or no, do you support the change to Saturday rifle opener?

Prefer no text responses, there are way more threads that have that going already and I couldn't figure out if there is a way to disable them.

Not a valid statistical sample, the age demographics will be way skewed on here. This is an HRC kinda poll. Forums are practically prehistoric social media.

Ahhh the dead horse rises again.

When you are up to your butt in alligators, it is hard to remember your intent was to drain the swamp. Stay focused!

Oh wait...no is loosing...let me try and remember how this goes...not a big enough sample size, the demographic is off, there is no I don’t care option, I don’t know if support means I like it or just means I’ll follow the rules....

Bottom line is the only vote that counts is the BC and we already know their decision.
Bad news is another PA hunting tradition goes down the drain and the turkey hunter loses a day, good news is rifle hunters get another day at deer, where there might actually be people in the woods to push the deer around.

FINAL 2019-20 HUNTING/TRAPPING SEASONS APPROVED

The Board of Game Commissioners adopted a slate of deer seasons for 2019-20, including a split, six-day antlered deer season (Nov. 30-Dec. 6) and seven-day concurrent season (Dec. 7-14) in 20 Wildlife Management Units. The list includes WMUs 1A, 1B, 2A, 2C, 2D, 2E, 2F, 2G, 2H, 3A, 3B, 3C, 3D, 4A, 4B, 4C, 4D, 4E, 5A and 5B. The package also retains the full-season (Nov. 30-Dec. 14) concurrent, antlered and antlerless deer season in WMUs 2B, 5C and 5D.

This season will start on the Saturday following Thanksgiving, rather than on Monday.
