Sat opener makes zero sense for camp hunters if Sun isn't in play. Hopefully, that will change too.
For those of us who aren't lucky enough to have a camp or who may have a harder time getting Monday off, Saturday makes all the sense in the world. Six up, half a dozen down really.
This way, at least the group that has missed out for the last 55 years gets their turn.

Most of the guys that were against this change are excepting the decision and taking it like adults. Most of the guys that wanted the change are acting like gracious winners and not attempting to create more division and discord among the hunters here. Then there is you guys. Do you really think these kind of comments are constructive? Or are you just trying to cause trouble? Take a lesson fellas, you wont always be on the winning side and rubbing it in is childish and beneath you both.

Listen, or your tongue will make you deaf.

Prefer no text responses, there are way more threads that have that going already and i couldn't figure out if there is a way to disable them.

I voted no, but I get it for the M-F working people, and kids. I am off regardless since I plan two vacations: last two weeks of bow and two weeks of rifle. I usually get sick during flinter, so that's season is shot for me

Lighten up Francis. We're talking about moving the opening day from Monday to Saturday, the outrage over it is comical.

Oh and looking at the poll again, still winning!

No "camp hunter" here. (Is there such a thing anymore? ) I voted no because... What sense does it make to open deer season only to close it down the very next day? It's about as exciting as most of the chest beaters in this thread.

At least the "chest beaters go out and hunt. Glad you are excited about us chest beaters who actually hunt within the regulations the PGC sets for us hunters. Good luck the very next day.
