I'm getting ready to purchase a scope for my sluggun i just got together. So just wanna know what everyone uses with there likes and dislikes. I'm thinking of the Bushnell Banner or a leupold vx-1 voth for shotguns. Any input would be great. Thanks
I think the VX-1 scopes are the way to go. You could get the ultimate slam Leupold shotgun/muzzleloader scopes with the shotgun ballistic reticle. I sell a ton of these scopes and haven't had anything negative said back to me about them. I've got plenty in stock if that's what your after. Good luck!
MadHunter,
Is this for a dedicated SLUGGUN or a combo deer turkey shotgun? Any way buy what you like and mount it in a professional Solid Manner and it will function.
Simmons 1.5-5X on 870 combo Deer Turkey, Nikon Prostaff 3-9
on Marlin 512P 12 ga both work well in De AND PA!!
Smage
This is for a dedicated sluggun. I have a couple areas i hunt that the owners want me to use a sluggun insted of a rifle. So last season i borrowed a buddies and now i have one but tring to decide what scope tto put on. Im liking all the feedback im getting. Thanks to all who replied.
I just put a burris fulfield 2 on with the ballistic plex on my Savage 220. I like it. For cheaper end scopes i think this is one of better ones
