I'm Mad

Put out my ground blind 2 weeks ago so deer would get use to it. Well some low life stole it on Tuesday night. I ordered a new one last night but will not have it for opening day. Worst thing is I think a neighbor 3 doors down took it.

Be sure to put up a trail camera with your new blind...

Re: I'm Mad

With the trail cam unless its extremely hidden that will disappear as well. Cause obiviously a blind is a little more difficult to steal vs. a trail camera. I feel your pain best of luck to you this year with hunting and catching the thiefs.

Re: I'm Mad

Reporting it stolen will do nothing.I had an aluminum boat stolen and the only report I could give was by phone. They never even came to my house. If the neighbor stole it you need to catch him using it.I would mark the new one in some way not obvious to others though. That way you can identify it.

Re: I'm Mad

I would mark it so it can be seen. Something along the lines of if not joe inside or selling this blind was stole please contact joe at.... If I saw that when buying I would call cops and joe.

Re: I'm Mad

Not to imply that stealing is ok, but you don't mention if it was on private ground or public ground.

In the "Treestand on Gamelands" thread, there appear to be several "good guys" that think taking property that is not yours is the proper thing to do.....Just sayin'

I prefer my kid hunt and fish rather than steal and deal,
