Is a used Parker Cyclone worth....

$490?
I just won one on Ebay. I didn't expect to get it and was pretty much planning to get a Bushwacker but now I'm getting a Cyclone. It has a multi-dot scope and a set of new strings but no quiver or bolts.

Where are you going to take it when you need service?----That's the downside to E-Bay.....Many bowshops are reluctant to work on bows other than their own customers...At least for a reasonable fee.

That's true, I guess I'm assuming that one of the 5 or so archery shops in the area will work on it. I don't know yet what reasonable fees will be.

I believe you did good as well. I have the same bow. I do believe though that Parker's warranty does not transfer to a second onwer?? I could be wrong.

Re: Is a used Parker Cyclone worth....

I've gotten a couple short range sessions in so far and have discovered a couple things. 1. A Cyclone is way to fast, I can hardly pull the arrows out of the targets. I have a 16" 'block target and at 30 yards it jumps when the arrow hits it and I get about 14" of penetration. 2.I don't like multi dot scopes, the dots sort of blend together too much. 3. Don't shoot at squirrels out of season, you'll probably lose the arrow.
I need some more practice time to get it hitting where I expect it to but it seems like I'm the primary limiting factor so I'm definitely looking forward to some archery hunting.

I like my Cyclone as well. I don't care for the multi dots either. Good luck with it this fall.
