new WR Warrior crossbow

i have been wanting to get a crossbow for a few years now due to shoulder problems. gander had the wicked ridge warriors on sale so i went and picked one up along with some carbon express bolts, cocker, etc. i must say i am very impressed with this thing. it has a scope on it and it is drilling a paper plate in such tight groups that i have to pull the bolts after each shot. i didn't even have to touch the scope. it was dead on at 20, 30 and 40. i know this is not the rocket launcher that the high end ones are but this thing throws bolts so fast i can barely see them. and my boys shoot it just as well. if anyone is thinking of getting into it, these things make it pretty easy. i got bolts, cocker, field tips, expandables, lube, wax, scope and all for right at 5 bills.

Re: new WR Warrior crossbow

Congrats on the new bow! Nothing wrong with the wicked ridge line of bows especially for the price range that they are in. Not to mention you get great customer service since they are made by Tenpoint. The only difference between it and some faster bows is that the arrow won't be buried quite as deep in the dirt after it passes thru a deer. Hope to see you and your boys behind in some success pics with it.

Traditions only last if you pass them down to your kids!

I have one also and love it, that's not to say I wouldn't mind having one of those higher end narrower xbows.

I sight mine in off a table and bags, then when it's where it should be I practice offhand.
