Re: arrows for wr invader

In a moderate performing bow like the Wicked Ridge, tough to beat good old Gold Tip Laser IIs or Victory XBolts. Not gonna break the bank and perform just fine from the Invader.

As far a fixed heads, I have found the G5 Strikers, ABC Sonics, Slick Tricks, Wasp SSTs and Ramcats as great performing heads in most any crossbow.

Forum sponsor Arrowhead can whip you up 6 or 12, custom fletched with the colors you want in no time, at a cost that would have the big box stores wondering how he does it.

I support all hunters, regardless of weapon or technique!

I agree with DPMS. My Excal Exocet 200 is a medium velocity crossbow and it shoots the GT2`s and Wasp SST`s extremely well. The heads are 100 grain.

I never got great results with Muzzys in my crossbows. Some have but I am not one of them.I suspect that their new Trocar broadhead would do well in crossbows but I have not shot it yet.

Re: arrows for wr invader

I have been following this thread as I have the same crossbow.

I bought three gold tip laser II . One of them consistently flies about 1.5" to the right at 18 yards. There is nothing visibly wrong. Any ideas?

I am considering Rage crossbow heads. Any other broad heads you experts suggest?

Re: arrows for wr invader

Fliers. There is always one or two in every batch. Use it as your discharge arrow.

Some guys will refletch, rotate the nock and or insert, square the ends of the shaft etc.. Tom try to get it to group. I just put a big x on one of the vanes and abuse it for discharging.

As far as broadheads, G5 Strikers, Sonics, Wasp SST, Slick Tricks, Ramcats fly well in all of my bows. Form mechanicals, I like Spitfires, Swhackers, Ulmer Edges and Wasp Jakhammers.
