Have you checked out Excalibur? If not I would certainly suggest them. I can't rave about mine enough. Accurate, easy to work on if needed, and with the heavier broadheads your quarry doesn't go far.
I personally liked the Titan, but for the price... I thought the Axiom was a way better value.
Yes Excal does make a crank cocking device. I have one for my wife to use. They are not built into the stock like the Tenpoints are. They do work well however. The new Matrix series is a lot more narrow than the older Excaliburs. I would go try some out and see what you think. There are advantages and disadvantages to both compounds and recurves. I like the simplicity and the ability to change strings myself without going to a bow shop.

My buddies dad has an Excalibur. I cannot imagine pulling a 225 lb recurve!! I gave him a call tonight. He said with the rope cocker if you do pull the string back evenly, it will shoot 6 inches right or left. He invited me to come up and shoot it. Does the crank eliminate the possibility of not pulling it evenly?
