broad head use

I use rage with my crossbow (work for me) but I got my muzzy's from when I could still shot a bow at home, was just curious how they fly and if there are any one who uses fixed blades in cross bows... not a agruementative question just a question

live laugh love and hunt hard!

Forest county got to love it!

Re: broad head use

I've been using a three blade muzzy for woodchucks and they fly and work well, Haven't had a chance to use them on deer because I just got the crossbow about three weeks ago.

Re: broad head use

Fixed blades have always worked just fine out of my crossbow

Re: broad head use

I couldn't get Muzzy's to fly all that well in my crossbow when I tried them. They weren't bad, but they just didn't group as well as some others.

Traditions only last if you pass them down to your kids!

Re: broad head use

I never had great success with Muzzys but I suspect the new Trocar Muzzy will be a good one.

I have shot fixed blades exclusively in crossbows. G5 Strikers, ABC Sonics, Ramcats, Wasp SST and Slick Trick Razor Tricks are excellent choices for fixed blades in crossbows.

Been playing with mechanicals alot lately. I see no advantage to them but they are there for those that want to shoot them.

I support all hunters, regardless of weapon or technique!

Re: broad head use

I've had little luck with Muzzy's. Go with what DPMS said above. I would say those are some of the best and would add the Tru-Fire T-1.
