Tactical or Stealth SS

I am thinking about purchasing either an ss or a tactical. Any suggestions or opinions would be appreciated.

Re: Tactical or Stealth SS

I would try and find a local shop that has both of them where you could handle and possibly take a couple of shots. Can't go wrong with either choice, so I would say whichever one feels the best to you. The new Stealth is getting a lot of great reviews. Good luck.

Re: Tactical or Stealth SS

Both great bows. I am shooting the Tactical this year and have shot the StealthSS during a round of 3D.

iMO, the Tactical has that "cool" look to it and that is what drew me to it in the TenPoint lineup. The Stealth is much shorter overall thanks to the new bullpup stock design. Both are the same width which is very narrow for crossbows. Unless you are drawn to the looks of the tactical or do alot of ground blind hunting, the Stealth is more of a hunters bow becuase it is so compact.

TenPoint will be moving towards the Stealth platform for most of their bows in the coming years.

Best of luck with your decision. You will like either one.

I support all hunters, regardless of weapon or technique!

Re: Tactical or Stealth SS

Thanks for info. My archery shop carries the tactical but not the stealth. They can get one in but then I'm locked into buying it.

Re: Tactical or Stealth SS

Get the Stealth. You will love it. It is my favorite bow this season along with the Excalibur Matrix 380. Between those two crossbows, the choice just comes down to wheels, or no wheels?
