Excalibur Vortex - Broadhead Selection?

I've heard that an a Atom broadhead can produce some impressive groups out to 80 90 yards. For those of you shooting a Vortex, or any other Excalibur.... what broadhead do you use and what are the groups like?

Re: Excalibur Vortex - Broadhead Selection?

I killed two deer with my Vortex last year. Both fell to the G5 Striker which Arrowhead turned me onto out of Excaliburs. As far as how they shoot, well, they will shoot better than I am able to shoot them.

I support all hunters, regardless of weapon or technique!

Was away for a week.

First deer, 2.5 y/o buck. Very high 30 yard double lung and deer traveled about 150 yards. I waited till the following morning to recover the deer. Little blood because of the high shot. My fault, not the broadheads.

Second deer, 1.5 y/o doe. Perfect 10 yard double lung. Deer traveled 10 yards.

Broadheads held up well and they fly very good out of the Excals.

I support all hunters, regardless of weapon or technique!
