Re: mathews mission

havent shot one but for the reviews ive heard on it there are lots of other bows in that price range that could easily top it.

Re: mathews mission

I got a chance to shoot one in Nebraska this year. I use an excalibur but this was an interesting xbow. We did have a problem with it, You must use bolts with metal nocks. We cut the string after about 25 shots with plastic nocks. THat said replacing the string was a breeze. Just a rachet strap . After replacing we went back out to shoot it and it hit exactly where it was with the old string. Only complaint I had was that there seems to be a lot of plastic on it. Still sticking with my excalibur though

Re: mathews mission

I shot one last week. It seemed like a big piece of hollow plastic. I know they wanted it to be light but it just felt cheap.. There was way too much play in the trigger also. They are changing it a little for 2013 and are coming out with a cheaper model. I am a Mathews person but went with the Tenpoint Turbo XLT II.
