crossbow question ??

my buddy at work has the excalibur phoenix crossbow package, he claims he shot thru a 2x4 with a field tip and the bolt went at least half way thru , is this possible?

Re: crossbow question ??

Entirely possible. I would bet a average compound bow would do the same or better than the Phoenix on a 2X4.

I support all hunters, regardless of weapon or technique!
